After a standout playing career as a catcher at the University of Oklahoma, Coach Lombardi spent 21 years as an Assistant Coach, and Associate Head Coach, at her alma mater.
In 2018 Coach Lombardi moved to Eugene, Oregon to take the head job at the University of Oregon! Throughout her college career she has helped to lead teams to regular appearances in the NCAA Regionals, 12 College World Series appearances, and World Series titles in 2000, 2013, 2016, and 2017.
Coach Lombardi has helped to develop multiple recruits into All-Americans, impact players in the World Championship, and USA Softball Players of the Year. In recognition of her good work in developing elite international level athletes Coach Lombardi got the call-up as an Assistant Coach with the USA Softball National Team.
Coach Lombardi definitely knows how to identify, recruit and develop student-athletes to reach the highest levels of her sport!
