Coach Lamont Butler has experience and insights in recruiting from almost all angles. If his young son eventually gets recruited he will have the last angle covered – the parent angle!

As a high school athlete Coach Butler was recruited to play football at Grossmont Community College. From there he was recruited to NCAA Division 1 Sacramento State University football. After his playing days he served as an assistant high school coach, then was named Head Coach at Horizon Christian Academy in San Diego. As a high school coach he helped young players to find college football opportunities at a variety of levels.

As an Assistant Coach/Defensive Coordinator on the college level he recruited players to the college football, and now, as he enters his 3rd year as Head Coach at Trinity International University, he recruits, and signs prospects, to college scholarships.
