We can learn a great deal from Coach Justin James’ experiences with Recruiting.

As a high school Student-Athlete at South Pasadena High School (CA), he was recruited to a community college baseball program, and then from there he was recruited to an NAIA program.

After his playing days were over, Coach James pursued a career in college coaching, first serving as an Assistant Coach at high school, NAIA, NCAA Division 2 programs, as well as at a rising D1 program. Along the way he helped numerous aspiring athletes in their pursuit of college baseball opportunities.

Now Coach James is at NCAA Division 2 Point Loma Nazarene University Baseball as their Head Coach, and has also been named as a coach with USA Baseball!

With the variety of experiences Coach James has had in college baseball, first as a recruited player, and as a recruiter who connects with and evaluates prospects, and now as a head coach, who makes the final decisions on offering scholarships, he is an excellent source of information.
