In High School, Coach Wright was an All-League, All-County, All-State, and State Championship Volleyball player at Santa Fe Christian in San Diego.
Then she moved onto a fantastic career as a 4-year starting Setter for then NAIA Biola University, where they contended for National titles, and where she was recognized as an All-American Scholar-Athlete.
Next, Coach Wright played professionally in Spain, before returning to the states to coach and teach on the high school level. For her next move Coach Wright re-joined Biola Volleyball as an Assistant Coach. During her time at Biola, working along-side Head Coach Aaron Seltzer, Wright helped Biola Volleyball to continue as an NAIA power, as they advanced to the National Tournament every year, and eventually gained a #1 National Ranking on their way to competing in the National Championship match!
For her good work Coach Wright was honored as the 2015 AVCA/NAIA Assistant Coach of the Year, and was named on the AVCA's list of "30 under 30" recognizing the top-30 volleyball coaches in the nation under the age of 30!
With her decorated career as a student-athlete, and as a coach, Wright earned the Head Coaching job with NCAA Division 2 Seattle Pacific University in 2017, and has solidified the program as a contender in the challenging Great Northwest Athletic Conference.
Coach Wright brings a wealth of experience to our show from the high school, club, NAIA, and D2 levels!
